High recommendations for Shawn and the Blue River nursery. We have been privileged to receive services intermittently over the past 20 years. Good products. Good service. We also were equipped with knowledge to care for our investment. Thank you.

Shawn and his team are very knowledgeable and professional. They all like what they do and it shows. They helped us pick out our plants and then came and planted them with such care. We will be back, they are second to none.

Great service and quality trees. Bought October Glory, Aspen, Norway Maple and Norway Spruce trees. They were a bit root-bound but broke up them when planting and this year they are rooted strongly in place. I'll go back and get more from them. Support local, especially when they knock it out of the park, even if it cost a bit more than others. A+

This nursery is several states away from where I live, yet they stocked I particular pine that I’ve been on the hunt for ever since I saw one in person when I was overseas. I’ve ordered specimens of plants from nursery’s all over the country. My experience with Blue River has far and away exceeded all previous experiences (and my previous experiences were good). 1. Shawn the owner of the nursery was very responsive to my questions, very knowledgeable of his unique product, and very friendly. 2. I ordered a 3 gallon pine, and as you can see from the pictures, the packaging was absolutely exceptional! Very great care was taken, and I also appreciate Shawn sending me such a great specimen! 3. This next item will seem small, but it’s extremely important and is a very big deal to me. Most nurseries generally tell you to drop the plant in the ground as is. Shawn gives specific instructions on how to prepare the rootball. I’ve only had one other local nursery provide this insight. Many frustrated plant owners fail to apply this, and they wonder why there plant either dies after two years or fails to grow at its true potential. 4. While my yard is presently maxed out with various plant
